Celebrating our Amazing AmeriCorps Coaches

  1. Updates

Every year, Playworks Wisconsin partners with AmeriCorps to hire energetic and service-minded people. This partnership allows us to expand our reach and serve more schools. This year, AmeriCorps Week is from March 4 through March 11, and Playworks Wisconsin is taking this time to celebrate our nine amazing AmeriCorps coaches.

Take a look at some of our awesome coaches in action!

Coach Kim teaching hot dog tag during a Class Game Time.

Coach Mark with his Junior Coaches at the Milwaukee Bucks Game.

Coach Ant and Coach Clarissa planting trees for Make A Difference Day at the Audobon Center.

Coach Melissa, Coach Courtney, Coach Mark, Coach Maryann, and Coach B showing off their new jackets thanks to New Balance.

Coach Bianca and Coach Courtney painting with City Year during Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Coach Austin leading a Class Game Time.

Playworks Wisconsin is so lucky to have such dedicated AmeriCorps coaches. As AmeriCorps members, they dedicate 1,700 hours of service, but many go above and beyond recess and create a positive climate throughout their school. The impact they make every day on thousands of students allows Playworks Wisconsin to make a real difference in the Milwaukee Public School District.

Thank you to our awesome coaches and to AmeriCorps for making our mission possible.
