Hartford Avenue University School Named Power Play Partner

  1. Updates
Hartford Avenue University School has been selected as our Quarter Two Power Play Partner. The Hartford staff has shown excellence and enthusiasm in participating in games at recess, teaching children respect through play and engaging students in physical activity throughout the school day. Congratulations to the incredible people at Hartford for earning this award. It is a joy to witness what a positive and welcoming environment the school is for students and staff.
Playworks Wisconsin recognizes its Power Play Partners as part of their efforts to support healthy school partnerships and to encourage school staff to use the power of play to bring out the best in every kid. Awardees are Playworks schools that continue to go above and beyond in promoting our core values of respect, inclusion, healthy play, and healthy community. Power Play partners are nominated by program coordinators and recipients are selected by Playworks Wisconsin’s program director and program managers.
“Collaboration is key when it comes to a great partnership,” says Coach Dominik, Playworks program coordinator at Hartford. “The entire community at Hartford benefits from the amazing collaboration between the Hartford staff and Playworks. Because the staff truly embodies the Playworks core values, we work together to continuously take Playworks to the next level to better serve our students.”
