MLK Day Service Project at Penrose Elementary

  1. Updates

The Playworks Philly team organized a “Who Am I, Who are We” workshop for the students of Penrose Elementary on Martin Luther King Day. The workshop included a combination or Playworks games with activities that had students reflect on who they are as individuals and how this affects how the way they treat others.

Program coordinators tied in the teachings of Martin Luther King to games such as partner to partner, over under relay and shadow shadow. The event was a great success concluding with cheers and smiles!
