Playworks Milwaukee is an Official Charity of the Wisconsin Marathon

  1. Updates

Playworks Milwaukee is an official charity of the 2012 Wisconsin Marathon. Runners committed to the power of play can choose Playworks Milwaukee to donate their running and fundraising energy towards. Athletes who commit to running for Playworks Milwaukee will don a Playworks racing t-shirt and use the months leading up to the marathon to fundraise for our city.

The Wisconsin Marathon is held in Kenosha, Wisconsin, each year. The race draws Wisconsinites and out-of-town runners to follow the scenic course along Kenosha’s waterfront.  This year, on May 5, 2012, runners will take off, and in Playworks spirit of play, stay active and have fun while raising money for Playworks and the work we do in Milwaukee’s under-served schools.

Playworks Milwaukee will also be partnering with several races including a world-class event to raise money and get the word out in support of healthy, safe and inclusive play. Look for announcements soon!
