15 Days of Play: Celebrating Partnership & Teamwork with WSS

  1. Updates

At Playworks Southern California, partnerships are at the heart of our mission to bring the power of play to kids and communities. As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary, we’re thrilled to spotlight an incredible partner, WSS

Our collaboration began with a back-to-school backpack distribution in the Lennox Unified School District, ensuring students started the year equipped and ready to learn.

Since then, our connection has grown into something dynamic and impactful, extending beyond schools and into the workplace through Corporate Recess.

Corporate Recess, a signature Playworks experience, allows WSS team members to step away from their desks, break the ice with fun games, and connect in new ways. It is a lively, inclusive team-building experience that fosters increased employee satisfaction and collaboration.

Through movement and play, they’ve been able to foster empathy, communication, and problem-solving skills while building stronger, more meaningful relationships with their co-workers.

We’re grateful for WSS’s continued commitment to teamwork and community, helping us make play a priority for all. Let’s give WSS a big whoosh clap for their leadership and partnership in bringing play to life, both on and off the playground!
