Playworks is a national nonprofit organization that supports learning by providing safe, healthy and inclusive play and physi
cal activity to schools at recess and throughout the entire school day. Playworks is the only nonprofit organization in the country to send trained, full-time coaches to low-income, urban schools, where they transform recess and play into a positive experience that helps kids and teachers get the most out of every learning opportunity. Our coaches introduce classic games that are disappearing from schoolyards as well as new games designed to build leadership and foster teamwork. When Playworks partners with a school, kids are more physically active, and they return to class focused and ready learn.

Active 20-30 Club United States and Canada provides young adults with the opportunity for personal growth, friendship and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs of the children in its local community. Durham and Wake Counties currently have 55,000+ children living in poverty. That is more than 1 in 4. It is time we did something to change that. Active 20-30 Club of Durham/Raleigh seeks to help develop community leaders by enabling young women and men to raise money and contribute volunteer hours in order to improve the lives of kids in our communities.

Registration Information:
- Teams must consist of a minimum of 10 players, a maximum of 15. All must be over the age of 18. Teams must field a minimum of at least 4 players each gender.
- Team fees include team shirts, sponsor gifts, and Pool Play tournament with a minimum of three games played. For team registration and team payment please email Stuart at stuart.beeson@playworks.org
