High 5 for 5

  1. Updates

June marks the end of our fifth year of service in North Carolina. This year Playworks provided healthy, meaningful play to more than 18,000 kids, every day!

In Playworks schools, recess is as an opportunity to reduce bullying, provide more time for classroom teaching, and increase physical activity. Through the years, Playworks North Carolina has developed a reputation for quality, results driven programming that impacts thousands of children.

While we are excited to celebrate five years of partnership with North Carolina schools, our growth has only just begun. In the next five years, we plan to bring safe and healthy play to 180,000 children in 300 elementary schools across the state by June 30, 2020.

As we approach the end of the school year, please consider making a gift to Playworks. Your gift will help broaden our impact across the state and ensure we reach our goal.

Through our High Five for 5 campaign, if you donate $50 or more, you will receive an exclusive 5 Years of Play gift. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by June 30th, 2016. With your help, we can end our fifth year ready to make the next five even more impactful!
