Word is spreading that Playworks Philadelphia is making a significant impact on the lives of over 5000  Philadelphia school children every day. Philadelphia Inquirer reporter, Kristen Graham visited  Charles Drew Elementary School in West Philadelphia where Coach Ben Gibboney demonstrated how Playworks uses recess to positively impact school climate, decrease school violence and help kids be better prepared to learn – all while having fun!
