Champion Play in Seattle!
What is the Ambassador Board?
Based in the Seattle market, the Playworks Pacific Northwest Ambassador Board is a unique opportunity for individuals in the area to support and advance Playworks’ mission while gaining valuable experience.
As a member, you’ll flex your fundraising muscles, sharpen your nonprofit strategy skills, get access to professional development opportunities with Playworks’ leadership team, and expand your personal and professional network.
The board consists of 3 committees – Corporate Outreach, Event, and Marketing – so you can choose your own adventure. Time commitment is 2-4 hours a month. That’s like one long coffee hangout or a couple of binge-worthy episodes. In other words, totally doable.
Ambassador Board members play a key role in ensuring broader access to safe and healthy play, building impactful partnerships, increasing Playworks’ visibility, and strengthening community engagement. By joining, you’ll help create more opportunities for kids to experience the power of play while growing as a leader in your community.
How to Join
Contact Casey Gackle, Partner Experience Manager at casey.gackle@playworks.org if you are interested in learning more about joining the Ambassador Board.
Want to Take on a Leadership Role?
We’re actively recruiting Co-Chair Members. What’s a Co-Chair, you ask? Think of the role as a lead collaborator – someone who helps guide the vision, keeps things moving, and brings people together with a time commitment of 3-5 hours a month.
If you’re the “I need to know exactly what I might be signing up for” type: here’s the fine print.
