Playworks PACNW’s First Stay and Play

  1. Updates

On Wednesday, October 16, Riverview Elementary in Vancouver, WA welcomed all caregivers and families to their vibrant playground for their first-ever “Stay and Play” event powered by Playworks! Riverview Elementary is excited to be a Playworks TeamUp school this year and eager to bring play to its community.

With students enjoying an early release day, caregivers were invited to join the fun, creating a “mock recess” atmosphere filled with laughter, connection, and play!

From Banana Tag to Switch and 4 Square, the air was buzzing with excitement as students, parents, staff, and Playworkers dove into a variety of engaging games. Junior Coaches took the lead in inviting families to join in on games and spreading high-fives and excitement!

This awesome event showcased Playworks’ commitment to promoting safe and healthy play, perfectly complementing Riverview’s dedication to community engagement and empowerment— all through the power of play! A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this day extra special.
