Corporate Kickball in San Francisco

  1. Updates

On a beautiful, sunny afternoon, representatives from local companies came together for a San Francisco kickball tournament with a cause. Playworks annual Corporate Kickball Tournament in the city took place on June 21 at Golden Gate Park. Corporate Kickball is an employee engagement event and fundraiser that brings teams out of the office and onto the kickball field for an afternoon of fun. Participating businesses spend an exciting afternoon seeking out the Golden Kickball Trophy and enjoy the day with delicious food, drinks, and friendly play with their peers while also raising funds to give all San Francisco youth the childhood they deserve.

Thank you to FTI Consulting, UserTesting, Cupertino Electric, Inc., Skyline Construction, DPR Construction, Accenture, Pankow Builders, and Warriors Corporate for participating. The tournament began with three round robins leading to two playoff games and ending with the championship game. Congratulations to DPR Construction for taking home the Golden Kickball Trophy as the most successful team at the event! Warriors Corporate took home the most spirited award for showing good sportsmanship.

HUGE thanks to BODYARMOR and Hint for donating their refreshing drinks for all tournament players! Amazing raffle prizes were provided by Sanfranpsycho, Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria, Total Wine & More, and Carolyn Healings.

It was an amazing afternoon of bringing people together and celebrating the power of play. We are grateful to have these community allies and look forward to next year’s event! Stay up to date on future Playworks Northern California events when you sign up for our e-newsletter.
