Playworks East Bay Coaches Highlighted on CBS Morning News

CBS Bay Area News anchor Frank Mallicoat dropped by a Playworks Coach training to witness the making of the magic we call Playworks! Playworks  East Bay puts full-time, fully trained coaches in 33 low-income elementary schools in the East Bay. These rock star coaches transform school climate through through active, collaborative recess games, sports leagues and Junior Coach Leadership programming. A recent research study by Mathematica Policy Research and Stanford University demonstrates hat Playworks schools have significantly less bullying than non-Playworks schools. And every year, partner schools ask for Playworks to return because they experience less chaos, kids are more active and the transition to classroom learning is faster and easier.
