Playworks Refreshed after Retreat in Marin Headlands

  1. Updates

On Friday, March 25th, Playworks San Francisco took advantage of the SFUSD furlough day to invite all staff up to Marin County for the annual staff retreat.  It was a day of reflection, conversation, and in true Playworks spirit, lots of games.  In the morning, Playworks office staff and program coordinators participated in an in-depth discussion about being a leader in both the schools that we work in and in the greater community.

After lunch, the day was filled with games. Celebrity, medic dodgeball and “Minute to Win It” games were among the favorites. Not only were games chosen to foster team building, but also to share ideas and to model how to teach and adapt them for children.   Playworks coordinators and staff left the day feeling rejuvenated with new energy to carry them into the last few month of the school year.
