Playworks is teaming up with Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018, Play Rugby USA, and USA Rugby Academy powered by Atavus under the new initiative, Impact Beyond!
The initiative is aiming to develop an interest in youth rugby among kids and empower youth by highlighting the inclusive values of rugby.
We’re excited to partner with other great, like-minded organizations on this initiative and empower kids to get physically active by playing rugby. Play Rugby USA, for example, surveyed its participants and found that 8 out of 10 of the students in their program report improved physical fitness as a result of participating in their program.
Impact Beyond aims to bring diverse communities together through sport and ensure that every child has the opportunity to achieve his or her potential.
Impact Beyond will host a series of events, including a Playworks Jamboree, leading up to the Ruby World Cup Sevens 2018 in San Francisco on July 20.
