Bringing more schools safe, healthy, active play!

As a national initiative to ensure that 60 minutes of physical activity a day is the norm in K-12 schools across the country, Let’s Move! Active Schools equips schools with the resources and tools to increase physical education and physical activity opportunities for students. Playworks is a proud partner of Let’s Move! Active Schools and encourages schools and champions to sign up at www.letsmoveschools.org.

In collaboration with Let’s Move! Active Schools, Playworks provided a grant opportunity in February 2017 for schools to receive a grant of a free Playworks Power of Play (POP) workshop.

Nearly 150 Let’s Move! Active Schools submitted thoughtful applications expressing their interest and desire to learn more about safe and healthy play, and we greatly appreciate their interest in collaborating with Playworks. After careful deliberation, we’re excited to announce this year’s Let’s Move! Active Schools grantees:
