Eight Ways You Can Support Playworks

  1. Updates

Help Playworks make an impact in 450,000 kids’ lives across the country.

We believe in the power of play to bring out the best in every kid. To all our friends and believers in Playworks, here's how you can support us in bringing out the best in 450,000 kids across the country:

  • Help us find amazing staff. We are hiring playful, passionate staff/members all across the country who are looking to make a difference in kids' lives. Tell your friends about our openings and help us find more recess rock stars — for our schools, offices, and training operations.

  • Tell your school or youth organization about our professional development workshops.

  • Shop on Amazon Smile and donate 0.5 percent of proceeds to Playworks. By going to smile.amazon.com, you can sign up to donate .5 percent of the proceeds of your purchase to Playworks Education Energized. Once you sign up, be sure to go back to the same URL for all your future Amazon purchases and you will continue to donate to Playworks.

  • Visit one of our school programs. We love to bring folks out to our programs to see Playworks in action. Contact your local community executive director to learn more.

  • Bring a friend with you on the site visit. Show more people how we’re creating a place for every kid on the playground and make your visit even more powerful.  You can bring a friend who you think will be interested in the work we do.

  • Volunteer to help at one of our local offices. You can volunteer to support a local project, our marketing efforts, and more. Find out more here.

  • Get a team together for one of our local kickball tournaments. Each Playworks regional office runs a kickball tournament once per year. Click on the community closest to you to find about more about the tournament in your area.

  • Of course, one of the most impactful ways to support Playworks is to donate. $182 enables one child to be a part of Playworks for a whole year.
