In our schools today there is an intense amount of scrutiny and attention paid to academic interventions. Very little time and energy is devoted to the emotional and physical well being of students. I cannot imagine NOT having Playworks. Our teachers rave about the classroom games and how well they have been able to embed the games into transitions and quick breaks. And our behavior data has shown a significant decrease in recess and post-recess behaviors. We are so very grateful for the presence of this program.
