Random Acts of Kindness Day!

  1. Updates

Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day! The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is dedicated to making kindness the norm. They believe kindness can be taught and that by using their framework and kindness curriculum, they are giving students the social and emotional skills to be successful in life. This is definitely something Playworks can get behind!

Today, they ask us all to try and put some extra effort into spreading some kindness out in the world. If you are wanting to participate but unsure how, the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation website has a list of many different ways to spread kindness. Some of our favorites are:

  • Leave a nice review of a small business
  • Write someone a handwritten note
  • Leave a generous tip
  • Pick up trash around town
  • Leave a surprise in your mailbox for your mail carrier

Playworks is encouraging you to embrace Random Acts of Kindness Day and continue to spread kindness not just today but everyday! Making kindness the norm can be so easy and can really change someone’s day. If you participate in Random Acts of Kindness or see someone else participating, post a picture with the #MakeKindnessTheNorm or #RandomActsofKindnessDay or #RAKDay. Let’s go spread kindness!
