Boone Elementary Playground Brought to Life

  1. Updates

At the end of the day, more kids get to play.  That’s what it’s all about.

Coach Fi looks on, as all the hard work he put into Boone Elementary School’s painting project came to fruition – Boone playground was transformed.

With the support of fellow coaches Kevin and Jenny as well as office staff – Coach Fi and the students at Boone now experience the result of hard work and a few helping hands. The project was a group effort.  Even a few Junior Coaches and other students in the neighborhood contributed to the playground beautification.

Kids at Boone and the community now have a football field, lined diamond for kickball, two new basketball courts (3-pointers!), a multipurpose circle and several colorful four squares.  Boone is also sporting a fantastic school logo that was led by Coach Jenny. Go Boone Bulldogs!

An organized, safe and colorful playground makes playing at recess that much more exciting and engaging for the kids at Boone Elementary School in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood.

Boone playgrounds makeover was a fun event for the whole community!

Special thanks to Boone’s staff who were supportive in our endeavor.
