On February 20-21, 2014 Playworks will be exhibiting at the 2014 Colorado Charter Schools Conference (CCSC) at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center in Denver, CO. Playworks staff will be playing and teaching games, attention getters and group management techniques to attendees. This is an excellent opportunity to witness the power of play and ask how Playworks can fit in your community. We will be at Booth #11 in the GOLD zone.
Playworks is a national nonprofit organization that transforms schools by providing play and physical activity at recess and throughout the school day through both direct on-site service and professional development for staff. Playworks has been shown to increase teaching time, reduce bullying, increase physical activity and improve the school and learning environment. Playworks staff will talk about play as an essential part of youth development and answer questions about how you can benefit from Playworks. For more information about Playworks in Colorado contact Jamie Firmage or call (510) 768-7351.
