Playworks Has Transformed Recess at Montview Elementary School

  1. Updates

Moises Vazquez-Hernandez, a Metro State University student and anchor of Noticiero TVMET, joined us at Montview Elementary to interview a Junior Coach, recess support staff, a 4th grade teacher, and Playworkers. The elementary school partnered with Playworks this year after experiencing bullying and disengagement on the playground. Now students are more inclusive and respectful, enjoying the activities during recess. Playworks has helped Montview Elementary transform recess to create space for children to be physically active and develop critical social and emotional skills.

The interviews are in Spanish.
