Epic Night of Fun at Epic Brewing

  1. Updates

October has been a great month for play! We partnered with Epic Brewing to present Epic Night of Play to share the impact of Playworks, host activities for everyone, and drink great beer. Musical Chairs, Cookie Face, and our door prizes were the highlight of the night, with attendees taking home Denver Nature & Science Museum tickets, Playworks gear, and gift cards from local businesses.  We’re excited to continue events like this to raise awareness about the critical benefits play provides kids, and to have fun with our community.

We couldn’t be happier to share our love for games and support local breweries! We would like to shoutout Epic Brewery for hosting our event and fun throughout night. We want to thank all of our participants for playing Musical Chairs, Wrecking Ball, and Four-square, and entering for door prizes! A Playworks classic, Whoosh clap to our Young Professional Board, specifically David Mast and Jon Kettelhut, for volunteering to plan the event. In addition, we are grateful for those bluegrass jams brought to us by Mark Emde and Shaun Nicklin. This truly was a collaborative effort and goes to show you what a healthy community looks like! (Photo credit: Patsy Pesa)
