Playworks Colorado’s Fourth Annual Soiree For Play

March 15, 2018

Playworks Colorado’s fourth annual Soiree For Play honored a Playworks Junior Coach; the Denver Broncos; and the assistant principal of a Playworks partner school. These honorees embrace Playworks’ core values and healthy activity for their communities.

Junior Coach Darnell was the keynote speaker and shared his story as a Junior Coach this year. He was a fantastic representation of the Junior Coach Leadership Program and took home the Leadership Award. Jennifer Shaver, assistant principal of Thimmig Elementary School, took home Principal of the Year. The Denver Broncos were honored with the Champions of Healthy Community Award for our continued partnership based on community impact, activity, and developing critical skills in the children we impact in two of our partner schools.

We also celebrated with a silent auction and fun raffles, with all proceeds going to support Playworks programming.

The Soiree was a fun-filled night for honoring our Junior Coach Leadership Program and safe and healthy play in elementary schools across Colorado. Thank you to our Soiree sponsors, generous attendees, Amy K Wright Photography, Children’s Museum of Denver, Glacier Ice Cream, Relish, Southern Glazer’s, Rocky Mountain Audio Visual Productions for helping us have a very successful night.

Thank you for joining us for a fun night of play, great food and cocktails, and honoring key program components, and inspiring partners.
