Discounted Professional Development Trainings in Colorado

  1. Updates

We are excited to announce that, in the 2014-15 school year, the Colorado Health Foundation (CHF) has chosen to support Playworks Colorado and our commitment to creating a place for every child on the playground. As a part of this partnership with CHF, Playworks will implement discounted professional development trainings to school staff and youth workers around Colorado with a goal of positively impacting 4,800 youth.

How can you take advantage of this new opportunity to increase physical activity, decrease bullying and improve learning in your school or after-school program?

Please complete and submit this brief interest form to apply for discounted Playworks professional development trainings.

Playworks offers a variety of professional development trainings on how to use play and physical activity to transform school climate, including group management, game facilitation and recess design. Playworks provides fun and interactive professional development for school staff and youth workers to sustainably implement play-based programming.

For more information, contact Jamie Firmage at jfirmage@playworks.org or (415) 860-6301.

The Colorado Health Foundation’s vision is to make Colorado the healthiest state in the nation. To achieve this vision, CHF invests in grants and initiatives to health related nonprofits that encourage healthy living and increase the number of Coloradans with health insurance. CHF also works to ensure that Coloradans have access to quality, coordinated care as well as operating medical education programs to increase the health care workforce.
