In one word, how would your friends, family, or colleagues describe you?
Entertaining
What was your first volunteer experience like?
I first participated in a volunteer event in Duluth, MN in 1975 collecting money for charities.
What motivates you to volunteer?
I believe in social justice. Everyone deserves a place to dwell, enough food to eat, and clothes to wear.
What have you found most inspiring during your volunteer work with Playworks?
How eager the students are to participate in the games, and the conflict resolution of rock, paper, scissors.
What do you wish people to know about Playworks?
How well Playworks deals with the problems of bullying and cliques by something as simple as rock, paper, scissors as a conflict resolver.

In one word, how would your friends, family, or colleagues describe you?
Kind
What was your first volunteering experience like?
I can’t remember when I first volunteered but I have volunteered a lot of times at the different schools I work at.
What motivates you to volunteer?
It makes you feel good about yourself.
What have you found most inspiring during your volunteer work with Playworks?
Being able to teach young people about leadership and responsibility.
What do you wish people to know about Playworks?
That recess can be used to reinforce the positive leadership going on at the school.
