During this season of seemingly unending indoor recess, Coach Nate Haddad of Thomas J. Kenny School in Dorchester, Massachusetts has maintained a positive outlook, focusing instead of building a healthy community. Coach Nate organized a Saturday clean-up at his school. Over the years, classrooms had become inaccessible dumping grounds. To encourage other members to join him, Coach Nate kept things lively in a mascot lion costume, keeping healthy community fun! Coach Nate's efforts were noticed, not just by the school, but also by other community partners who went out of their way to let the Playworks office know how much of a difference Coach Nate is making at his school. One more thing, Coach Nate's version of Zombie Tag is so fun, one could imagine a healthy community full of zombies wherever he goes.
